Born in Barcelona (Catalonia), graduated in 1998
from the California Institute of the Arts with
a BFA in "Fine Arts". Worked at Sony pictures
as an assistant director on the primetime animated
series "Dilbert", works include, "Mission Hill",
"The Oblongs" in addition to tv commercials and
graphic design.
For the last 24 years Javier Pineda has been
working as a Lead Background artist, and Designer
on the Prime Time TV series "The Simpsons".
His contribution to the show gave him three EMMY’S
and one ANNIE award ; he also gained a tribute from
the Catalan Film Industry (Premi Gaudi) for an
outstanding career in the field of animation.
